In 2019, we removed an existing stone torii gate from a shrine in Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture.
As the area was inaccessible to vehicles, we used a crab crane. To prevent sudden collapse during removal, the crab crane was used to suspend and support the capstone while removing each stone. The removed stones were then transported away using a caterpillar.
