It was erected in the campus plaza of Meiji University of International Health and Medicine. It uses Oshima stone from Ehime Prefecture, known for its inscribed stones. The stone’s surface was utilized for processing. It is 3700mm high x 840mm wide x 690mm deep. It is difficult to choose a stone of this size with a good appearance, but an excellent piece was selected. A strong tenon-shaped reinforced concrete foundation was laid deep underground where the stone monument will be installed. The monument will be hoisted into place using a 25-ton crawler crane.
