A world-renowned lantern style made of granite, which boasts a variety of intricate carvings. Crafted by traditional stonemason, it features depictions of deer, clouds surrounding the sun, Nara prefecture`s Misaka Mountain, lattice patterns, and gentle waves. This lantern has its origins at Kasuga Taisha Shrine, one of the three great shrines of Japan, along with Ise Grand Shrine and Iwashimizu Hachiman Shrine.
